Infant Center

Overview

Manhattan Academy provides a safe and stimulating environment for infants as young as 6 weeks of age. We work hard to create an environment where your baby will not only be cared for and loved, but where his/her intellectual, emotional, and physical development are ignited through movement, exploration, and one-on-one care and attention.

Planned specifically to suit the needs of infants,
each room is emotionally soothing, physically motivating, and socially interactive. Our Infant Center is designed to be your child’s second home – a cozy place where they feel safe, loved and inspired to grow.

Our daily program is based on each infant’s unique needs, but will always include feedings, nap time, outdoor exploration, art, music, and plenty of snuggles from our Infant Center Caregivers.

Daily Activities

Manhattan Academy is proud to offer its youngest students an amazing start to their experience in school. This exceptional program provides little ones the opportunity to socialize and exposes them to various cognitive and creative activities to spark their interest. Although all infants in the Infant Center have their own individual schedules, each of their days at Manhattan Academy share common features. All of our infants participate in developmentally appropriate
experiences such as water play, art, music and movement, story time, block play, baby massages, tummy time activities and much more. Each activity provides them with frequent opportunities to promote growth in all areas of development: social, emotional, physical and cognitive. Our programs include diapers and wipes at no charge.
